Vision

Actually, I have a different job. I work as a consultant for sustainable transformation and support large companies in making their business models more environmentally friendly. That's why sustainable action is particularly important to me in this project as well. I define sustainable action as operating a functioning business model in such a way that it doesn't harm the environment (ideally, it has positive impact) and that it brings improvements for people and communities.

From an ecological perspective, surfboards pose a problem, as they are made of plastics, often even laminated with other plastics. This makes the boards impossible to recycle and, coupled with their short lifespan, leads to waste. Currently, I can't do much about this, but I hope to soon be able to approach local shapers to search for alternatives. Nevertheless, I ask you to treat the rented boards with care to extend their lifespan as much as possible. This is currently the best lever we have.

Until then, I'll be focusing particularly on the social aspect of sustainability. And a lot will be happening there! So stay tuned for what's coming!
